ENGINEERING:

R&M has incorporated fully network integrated CAD/CAM programming for design, unfolding, bending, laser cutting and punching to produce your sheet metal parts. Send us your designs in 3D solid or wire frame designs in either SAT or IGES format. Our unfolding software utilizes a true 3D solid model to check interference and collisions between the part, tools and brake. Once programmed, the CNC code is delivered to our CNC machine control to produce your parts.R&M produces your part right the first time – every time.

CNC TURRET PUNCH:

R&M has six (6) CNC Turret Punch with a capacity of 20 to 35 tons. R&M CNC turret punches are able to form, punch and cut your materials to exacting specifications. Turrets have both brush and roller tables depending on the level of finish required on your part. Louvers, embosses and lances are all part of our fabrication process.

If you need circles or shapes cut, ask us about our Wilson Wheel Technology – A fast and low cost alternative to laser cutting.

PRESS BRAKE:

Forming

(Strippit LVD Press Brake)

R&M  has press brake capacity from 45 to 185 tons. We have incorporated the latest in technology in our manufacturing process and are using Strippit/LVD press brakes complete with the Easy-Form^®Laser.

The laser angel control system controls bend angle in real time and provides repeatability as it compensates for grain direction and variation in material thickness.

Tooling

Our self-seating  hydraulic clamping system and precision ground tooling insures  proper tool alignment and fast turnaround for your parts.

STAMPING:

R&M has twelve (12) punch presses that range from 45 to 250 tons.  From tool design to  finished parts we can produce short run stampings with staged tools and  long with progressive dies.   

WELDING:

R&M is a member of AWS and has developed welding procedures and qualifications that meet  the requirements of AWS D9.1M/D9.1:2006 Sheet Metal Welding Code. 

We have nine (9) resistance welders from 75 KVA to 250 KVA.  Other  welding processes that we offer are  Tig, Mig, Plasma and Pulse Arc  welding.  Our Fanuc robotic welder is set up to weld with Mig and  Plasma.   

HARDWARE:

R&M has six (6)  hardware insertion machines for installing your pem nuts, standoffs and studs.
