Design & Engineering Capabilities

Each project begins by meeting with the customer to discuss part requirements. We are involved from the initial design and work with our customers to meet their CAD design and precision prototyping requirements.

CAD Design

Depending on the process required, we have fully integrated CAD/CAM programming. In the case of sheet metal, we use the CAD programming for design, unfolding the model, dynamic nesting for efficient laser cutting, punching, and bending. Stamped parts use the 3D solid model for developing the tool. Once the tool is designed, the software is used to check for interferenes. This advanced software ensures that your part will be produced right the first time and every time. The parts for the tooling are programmed with MasterCam for the wire EDM and machining centers.

PRECISION PROTOTYPING

Precision prototyping is an interactive process in which we manufacture a functional metal part that has all of the features required for form, fit, and function that our customers test prior to production. Once the design is finalized, the part is modeled with our CAD software for production.
